Sourcery, Witches, and Spiritual Experiences in The Bible

My testimony:

I was born to a Witch and a Sorcerer, and I ended up getting adopted at two and a half into a Christian family. So, for the most part I grew up in a Christian household and always knew that there was more than the world than just the material world, but I never had a personal relationship with God. Around the time I was in high school, I started fooling around with drugs and meditation, spirituality, drug philosophy, looking into pseudo-science, metaphysical science, etc. That developed into much worse in college where I started communing with spirits, zodiac maps, and Egyptian Gods. I inevitably found myself in a spiritual black hole after trying to perform an Egyptian ceremony and send my soul to the stars. I started feeling daemons all around me and hearing voices. I was at the point the only thing I could think to do was kill myself. God had other plans. A thought kept running through by head about being born again. Without any idea what that meant, and a strong fear in my life of God because at that time he was dealing with me as what I was in his eyes, lost, dirt and self-righteous. I saw a necklace on one of my friends that had Jesus on the cross and reminded me of my childhood in church. I felt God calling and he led me to Open Door Baptist Church in Missoula, Montana and March 3rd of 2019 I accepted The Lord Jesus Christ as my savior. Finally knowing the true God as my father and having my soul at peace for all eternity. Those other spirits wanted nothing from me but to give them gain from the spiritual into the physical. God gave me something I never had before, or could ever be given, spiritual peace. If I had gone through and killed myself, I know now I wouldn’t have gone to heaven. I had never truly experienced peace until that day.[Rom 5:1 KJV] “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:” All Glory to The One True God, Who Reigns Above All Forever. Amen.

I see how the summer changes to fall, the leaves turn color, and everything seems to be withering away at the change of the seasons. It reminds me of the occultism and the witchcraft I associated myself with, and how a lot of people don’t know the truth behind it. So, I went on a scripture study of what the Bible had to say about it. In short, it wasn’t anything good. I hope this makes you realize the ruler of this world has blinded your eyes and none of your spells can’t save you from the eternal Lake of Fire before you.

What is witchcraft?

The simple definition is: one that communes with spirits for insight into spiritual things (Future events, fortune-telling, etc.) Some scripture concerning this is seen in 1 Samuel Chapter 28:7-25. In this passage after Samuel dies, King Saul seeks his guidance from the grave (Samuel guided Saul on Gods Behalf). Saul sends his servants to find a lady with a “familiar spirit” and have her summon Samuels spirit from the grave. It goes terrible. Samuel informs Saul from the grave that Saul is going to die because he had done this and not sought God.

What was the Old Testament law concerning witches?

The law is very short and not so sweet concerning witches in the old testament in Exodus 22:18 “Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.” The punishment was death. That has changed nowadays because the law is a schoolmaster for sin and not the law of the land. So, if you want to live like an idiot and open the door for spirits and get possessed by devils, go crazy and go to hell, be my guest, actually please stay away.

What does the New Testament say about witches?

As stated above, witches during this day and age aren’t condemned to a physical death, but they will die spiritually in the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:14). The Bible says in Galatians 5:19-21 “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.” There is nothing a witch can do to reach God.

How does a witch get eternal life?

There is nothing they can do but cry aloud to God saying “God forgive me for committing this abomination in your eyes, I pray that you would forgive me and I believe in the finished work of your son The Lord Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary for my sins.

What’s next?

Throw out the idols, spell books, any paraphernalia and Get a King James Bible Av 1611 if you want some real spiritual power. Psalm 51:7 KJV Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
